Orange Push-Up Cake

I'd choose chocolate over about anything. So this receives a big compliment: One of my favorite non-chocolate desserts in the whole wide world! My friend, Marianne, made if for my birthday. LOVE it!

1 (3-oz) package orange jello
1 box orange cake mix (use white if you can't find it)
1/2 c oil
1 c water
2 eggs

Mix, pour into 3 round cake pans. Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes

1 (16-oz) carton sour cream
1 1/2 c sugar
3-4 T orange juice and pulp
1 (12-oz) package coconut

Mix. Put aside one cup of filling. While cakes are cooling, chill filling in the refrigerator. When cakes are completely cooled put filling between each layer, then ice cake.

1 c (reserved) filling
1 (8-oz) container Cool Whip

Mix together and frost cake. Freeze the cake and serve frozen or slightly frozen.
